Un bus a percuté et tué plusieurs personnes vendredi 14 novembre en fin d’après-midi, dans le centre de Stockholm, faisant également plusieurs blessés, a annoncé la police suédoise.
Le bus à double étage a percuté un abribus, selon les images des médias suédois, qui montrent un grand nombre d’ambulances et de véhicules d’urgence sur le lieu de l’accident. La cause de l’accident est encore inconnue, a déclaré une porte-parole de la police, Nadya Norton, à l’Agence France-Presse (AFP).
Le chauffeur du bus a été interpellé et une enquête pour homicide involontaire est ouverte, comme le veut la procédure habituelle, a-t-elle souligné. « L’enquête devra déterminer ce qui s’est passé. Il est trop tôt pour se prononcer et je ne veux pas spéculer », a déclaré Nadya Norton.
« Nous devons l’interroger, puis nous verrons s’il sera libéré ou placé en état d’arrestation », a poursuivi Mme Norton.
