Israël a confirmé, mercredi 26 novembre, avoir reçu mardi l’une des trois dernières dépouilles d’otages retenues dans la bande de Gaza, précisant que les restes remis par le Hamas et son allié le Jihad islamique étaient ceux d’un Israélien.
« A l’issue du processus d’identification par le Centre national de médecine légale », des représentants de l’armée « ont informé la famille du captif décédé, Dror Or, que leur proche avait été rapatrié en Israël », explique un communiqué du bureau du premier ministre israélien.
Chef cuisinier et fromager à la laiterie du kibboutz Beeri, Dror Or avait été tué le 7 octobre 2023 à l’âge de 48 ans lors de l’attaque du Hamas et de ses alliés sur Israël, et son corps emmené à Gaza. Avec la remise de ses restes, deux dépouilles d’otages du 7-Octobre restent encore à Gaza : celles d’un Israélien et d’un Thaïlandais.
