Un train a déraillé, tôt lundi 16 février matin, en Suisse, à Goppenstein, dans les Alpes du Sud, faisant « probablement » des blessés, a déclaré la police locale. « 7 heures, Goppenstein, déraillement d’un train, probablement avec blessés, intervention en cours, plus d’informations suivront », a annoncé sur le réseau social X la police cantonale valaisane.
Interrogée par l’Agence France-Presse, la police a affirmé ne pas avoir plus d’information pour le moment sur les circonstances de l’accident et sur le nombre de blessés. Sur leur site, les Chemins de fer fédéraux (CFF) précisent que le trafic ferroviaire « est interrompu entre Goppenstein et Brig » en raison d’une avalanche.
