Une vidéo, publiée par l’armée pakistanaise, montre une partie de ces frappes sur la capitale afghane, Kaboul. Les images, analysées par Le Monde, montrent que le Pakistan a visé deux hangars de la base militaire de Pul-e-Sharki, à Kaboul.
Le ministre de l’information pakistanais, Attaullah Tarar, a affirmé que ces tirs visaient « des cibles de la défense talibane afghane ». Les talibans ont confirmé les frappes, mais affirmé qu’il n’y avait eu aucune victime.
