Un tramway a déraillé, vendredi 27 février, à Milan, dans le nord de l’Italie. L’accident s’est produit vers 16 heures dans la rue Vittorio Veneto, alors que le tramway était bondé et qu’il circulait de la place de la République vers Porta Venezia. « L’impact a été dévastateur », a rapporté le procureur Marcello Viola.
On ignore pour l’instant pourquoi ce tramway de la ligne 9 a déraillé dans cette ville où se déroule actuellement la Fashion Week. Il s’agit d’un tramway « de dernière génération », selon le Corriere della Sera, qui a également rapporté qu’il « roulait trop vite ».
