Le ministre de l’intérieur, Laurent Nuñez, a relevé mardi 3 février qu’il y avait eu 28 200 refus d’obtempérer en 2025, soit une augmentation de 11 % sur un an.
Le ministre s’exprimait sur TF1 après que « 9 policiers ont été blessés en vingt-quatre heures » lors de refus d’obtempérer, notamment à Nantes et en Seine-et-Marne.
Faisant état de deux nouveaux refus d’obtempérer dans la nuit de lundi à mardi, l’un à Saint-Cyr-l’Ecole (Yvelines) et l’autre entre Toulouse et Carcassonne, qui a donné lieu à une course-poursuite de « 94 km », M. Nuñez a estimé qu’il y avait « de moins en moins de respect de l’autorité ».
Il a rappelé avoir donné pour instruction aux policiers et gendarmes d’« engager des poursuites systématiques ». « La réponse sera toujours très ferme », a insisté le ministre, en soulignant que sur les 28 200 refus d’obtempérer enregistrés en 2025 « plus d’un tiers constituait une mise en danger de la vie d’autrui ».
