L’aéroport de Nakhitchevan, dans une enclave en Azerbaïdjan, a été touché ce 5 mars 2026 par une frappe de drone iranien. Cette information a été rapportée par des médias locaux, avant d’être confirmée par le ministère des affaires étrangères azerbaïdjanais.
Dans le détail, deux drones ont traversé la frontière iranienne et l’un d’eux s’est écrasé sur l’aéroport de Nakhitchevan, selon l’agence locale Report.
Le second « a explosé près du lycée du village de Shakarabad, en république autonome du Nakhitchevan », selon l’agence et le gouvernement. Le ministère des affaires étrangères azerbaïdjanais a déclaré que ces frappes ne « resterai[en]t pas sans réponse », et a annoncé avoir convoqué l’ambassadeur d’Iran.
