Samedi 17 janvier, plusieurs manifestations étaient organisées au Groenland et au Danemark en réponse à la menace de Donald Trump d’acquérir le territoire situé dans l’Arctique.
A Nuuk, capitale de ce pays de 57 000 habitants, le premier ministre groenlandais, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, a pris part au cortège.
Des chants traditionnels inuits ont été entonnés par les manifestants, a constaté Isabelle Mandraud, envoyée spéciale à Nuuk pour le Monde.
Au Danemark, plusieurs milliers de personnes se sont rassemblées à Copenhague, mais également dans d’autres villes danoises : Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg…
